Sweet played her first game at forward this season for the Roos making the change in position as it resulted in her first two collegiate goals in a 4-1 win against Cazenovia College. The Norfolk, NY native was extremely accurate with all four of her shots challenging the opposing keeper and two of the four resulting in goals. The game was the only contest that the freshman appeared in during the 2-1 week for the women’s soccer team.

The Roos are back on the pitch Wednesday night when they host SUNY Institute of Technology at 7:00 p.m. The team will be raising funds for breast cancer awareness at their contest and it will be RooVuzela night. The first 500 fans will receive pink Roovuzelas! Vuvuzelas are plastic horns that produce loud monotone notes when they are blown into. This is a great opportunity for fans to support the women's soccer team and come out and make some noise!
