Doyle turned in a fifth place performance individually on Saturday as the men’s cross country team captured the 2013 Johnson State Invitational. The sophomore covered the 8-kilometer course in 31:15. The fifth place finish was the best finish for the Oneonta, NY native in his career with the Roos. The team title was the first for the men’s cross country team this season and the fifth in program history.
 
Both the men’s and women’s cross country teams will hit the trails again this Saturday when they travel to Utica, NY to take part in the Wildcat Invitational hosted by the SUNY Institute of Technology. The women run at 11:00 a.m., while the men take off at 12:00 p.m.
