Escalante had a remarkable week tallying three goals, two of which were game-winning goals in a 2-0 week for the SUNY Canton men's soccer team. Saturday against Division III Alfred University he netted both goals in a 2-0 win. He backed that performance up by scoring the Kangaroos second goal and eventual game-winner in a 4-1 win Sunday against Green Mountain College. With the two wins this weekend the Roos have leveled their record at 2-2 on the young season.

The men’s soccer team will take the field again on Saturday when they travel to take on Houghton College beginning at 12:00 p.m.
