Raap combined to stop 18 of the 20 shots he faced (.900 save %) as the Roos split a pair of SUNYAC games last week. He opened the week with a seven save shutout, his first career clean sheet, in a 2-0 win against Potsdam on Wednesday. The win was the first ever for the Roos against the Bears in men’s soccer as Canton was previously 0-8-1 against Potsdam since joining D-III as full members. On Saturday against Plattsburgh Raap stopped a career-high 11 shots to keep the Roos in the game throughout in an eventual 2-0 loss to the Cardinals (7-2-4). The sophomore now owns a 1.13 goals against average and .864 save % in 10 appearances this season.
