Rumble also recorded a pair of top 10 finishes individually to start his collegiate career to lead SUNY Canton to a pair of third place finishes to start the season. On Saturday he posted a round of three over par 75 to tie for eighth place out of 66 golfers. He recorded 13 pars, four bogeys and a birdie over 18 holes of action shooting 38 on the front before coming home in 37 to lead the Roos to a third place finish (307) out of 12 teams. On Sunday he tied for fifth out of 40 golfers at the SUNY Cobleskill Invitational shooting five over par 75. He tallied two birdies, nine pars and seven bogeys (39-36). Canton finished in third place (305) out of seven teams just two shots behind first place Delhi (303) and one shot back of second place Russell Sage (304).
