Guerin tossed a gem allowing just a single run over eight innings with seven strikeouts and no walks to help the Roos earn their first ever SUNYAC win, a 10-1 victory at Fredonia in their opening game of a three-game set on Saturday. The eight innings pitched and seven strikeouts were both season-highs, while it was the second time in six appearances he did not walk a batter. Guerin leads the Roos with 33.1 innings pitched this season, nearly 14 more than any other pitcher on the Roos staff.
