Alex Boak announced the 2016-17 schedule on Monday.
The Roos will feature a 25 game schedule that includes 15 home games. SUNY Canton opens the season with a home weekend series v. SUNY Cortland on October 28th and 29th. After a road game at Plattsburgh State on November 5th they return to the Roos House for their second home series, this time v. SUNY Geneseo on November 11th and 12th.
Following a weekend road trip at Buffalo State, SUNY Canton plays a home-and-home series with Hamilton College before and after the Thanksgiving holiday. The Roos welcome the Knights of Neumann University to Canton on December 2nd and 3rd before closing out the first semester at Morrisville State on December 10th.
For the second consecutive season the Roos will take part in the Middlebury College Invitational before the turn of the year. SUNY Canton opens 2017 with three straight home games including Plattsburgh State (1/7), Morrisville State (1/10) and SUNY Potsdam (1/13). The Roos will travel up Route 11 the next night to complete the season series with the Bears on January 14th.
SUNY Canton closes out the remainder of the season with five home contests over their final seven games. They host Stevenson University on January 21st and then bookend a home weekend series with Fredonia (2/3, 2/4) with home-and-home series with the College at Brockport (1/28 at home) and Oswego State (2/11 at home).
