Canton, NY – Members of the SUNY Canton volleyball program celebrated Canton's Winterfest by making a SUNY Canton volleyball snowmen sculpture at the village park.
The ladies made 4 vs. 4 volleyball snowmen teams included with SUNY Canton gold and navy blue jerseys along with a volleyball net. The Roos used sticks to make arms, eyes, noses and hair. This was also a first for volleyball player
Rachel Lowther (Woodbridge, VA) as she had never played in the snow before growing up in Virginia.
There is a contest for best sculpture that took place Sunday at noon. The Roos volleyball sculpture earned first place in the University Division! To check out a photo gallery of the Roo volleyball snowmen click
