Women’s Volleyball to Raise Money for Breast Cancer Awareness This Week

Canton, NY – The SUNY Canton women's volleyball team will be selling T-shirts this week to raise money for breast cancer awareness.

There will be multiple opportunities to purchase T-shirts like the one seen above for $10 with all proceeds going to the Susan G. Komen Foundation based out of Syracuse, NY. The team will also be wearing warm-up shirts at their matches on Saturday and Sunday in the Roos House as they take on Paul Smith's College and the University of Maine-Fort Kent.

The T-shirts will be sold on Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Campus Center outside the food court. They will also be sold on Friday at the men's soccer game against SUNY Institute of Technology at 6:00 p.m. Finally, the Roos will sell shirts on Saturday and Sunday during their matches at the Roos House. Shirts will be sold from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Sunday.

The women's volleyball team is currently on a nine match win streak as they haven't lost a match since September 10th to No. 17 nationally-ranked Clarkson University. SUNY Canton will put that streak on the line on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. against Paul Smith's College in the Roos House.
