Steve was a three-sport athlete at Oriskany competing in golf, football and basketball for four years... He was named MVP of the golf team during three seasons.... He also earned the Most Improved and Best Offensive/Defense player awards in football... Steve was an individual state qualifier in golf his sophomore and junior seasons... His team made sectionals in all three sports junior year.
