Canton, NY – The SUNY Canton Athletics department hosted time trials in anticipation of the 2015 Special Olympics Summer Games North Country regional, which will be held at the Roos House on the campus of SUNY Canton on Saturday, May 2, 2015.
On Thursday, Special Olympians gathered to participate in time trials for a number of events including running and walking events in the 25, 50, 100 and 200 meters. Other events included softball toss, javelin throw, basketball skills, bean bag drop and soccer kicking.
Two different sessions are scheduled as the first ran from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and the second will run from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the Roos House.
