Softball Hosts Skills Clinic; Runs Donation Drive for St. Lawrence Valley Renewal House

Canton, NY – The SUNY Canton softball team has been extremely involved making a difference in the community over the last couple of weeks. The Roos hosted two sessions of a skills clinic with nearly 50 girls and ran a donation drive that included over 100 items donated to the St. Lawrence Valley Renewal House.
 
5330On Sunday, November 2nd the team hosted 44 girls from ages 11 through 18 in the Roos House that included two sessions. SUNY Canton will host another "Bases Loaded Winter Clinic" in January.
 
That same weekend the softball team hosted a donation drive for the St. Lawrence Valley Renewal House during the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) Volleyball National Championships. The Roos brought over five boxes of donations, what amounted to be a little over 100 items ranging from kids toys, to personal hygiene products to cleaning products.
