Canton, NY – The SUNY Canton softball program will host a donation drive for the St. Lawrence Valley Renewal House on Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the USCAA Volleyball Championships.

The drive is held to raise material donations for victims of family violence. The donation drive will be held outside of Joey's inside the CARC on Friday. Material donation may include personal items, baby/children needs, kitchen items, health care items, and/or linens.

All donations are publicly recognized unless otherwise mentioned. Please remember all donations are tax deductible. For a Wish List of the St. Lawrence Valley Renewal House please see below.

Wish List

• Personal care items – shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrush, soap and deodorant
• General supplies – cleaning products, laundry detergent, toilet paper, paper towels, tissues, light bulbs, batteries, trash bags
• Bath and kitchen towels, bedding (twin), pillows and crib bedding
• No-perishable foods for the pantry
• Adult and children's underwear, socks, sweapants, pj's
• Winter items such as hats, mittens and boots
• Games, toys, puzzles, and art supplies
• Gift certificates or gift cards for long distance phone calls, gas, grocery stores, or department stores
• Over the counter medications (please be sure to check the expiration date)
