Canton, NY – The SUNY Canton women's soccer and volleyball teams fundraising to support breast cancer was a huge hit as the teams combined to raise over $1,300 as a result of their events in October. All proceeds went directly to the Central New York Susan G. Komen Foundation.
The women's volleyball team sold breast cancer Dig Pink short sleeve T-shirts, breast cancer volleyball ribbon pins and bracelets. The women's soccer team sold a different version of breast cancer T-shirts along with pins, stickers and raffles. A Chinese auction also took place at their home game against SUNY Institute of Technology and a concession stand was available for fans. All proceeds went directly to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
