Canton, NY --  SUNY Canton will host the 15th Annual Nicole E. Fleury Memorial 5K Walk / Run on Sunday Oct. 6th.

The popular walk/run is held to honor Nicole's memory as a SUNY Canton student-athlete and outstanding member of the campus community. Nicole, a three-sport standout tragically lost her life in a car accident on her way back to campus in November of 1998 and all funds generated from the event go towards a scholarship awarded in her name.

The race will begin at 9:30 a.m. for both walkers and runners and the start and finish is adjacent to the turf field next to the SUNY Canton athletic facility.  The registration fee is $15 which includes a long-sleeve t-shirt. 

Registration will be from 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. and there will be divisions for both walkers and runners based on age categories.
