Canton, NY – The SUNY Canton softball team will be conducting a canned food drive on Friday, November 1st at the men's ice hockey home-opener at 7:00 p.m. The Roos take on the University of New England in the CARC.

During this community service project, ANY person who attends the hockey game and donates (3) cans of food will receive ONE FREE raffle ticket. Fans can earn multiple raffle tickets at a rate of ONE ticket per THREE cans donated.  During the first intermission of the game, there will be a drawing and the person holding the winning ticket will win a $50 Visa gift card courtesy of the Athletics Booster Club.

All proceeds raised during the evening will directly benefit the Canton Neighborhood Center located at 5 West Street in Canton.

The SUNY Canton softball team will also be conducting a fundraiser by selling 50/50 tickets at all of the Roos home hockey and basketball contests this season.
